One Year
Limited Hardware Warranty
Skytel Direct original configured systems and all
hardware components are warranted to be free of defects
in material and workmanship for a period of one year
from original purchase date.
This
warranty excludes:
Voltage conversions causing hardware failure. Components
whose serial numbers have been defaced, modified,
or removed.
Damage
resulting from:
A. Installation or removal of the product.
B. Accident, misuse, abuse, negligence, physical damage,
static, electrical surge, unauthorized repair, modification,
or failure to follow technical guidelines.
C. Installation of parts or accessories that do not
conform to the quality or specifications of the original
parts or accessories.
D. Shipment. (Shipper must handle all claims)
E. Defective cd’s, zips, or floppy disks.
F.Any and all software related problems including
set up, repair, or installations. (Unless client has
optioned the enhanced software warranty)
G.CPU's are warranted for a period of three years,
and only through the manufacturer.
H.Scanners, printers, web cameras, digital cameras
and other accessories are only warranted through the
manufacturer only.
Skytel Direct
will be responsible for labor, materials, and expenses
for covered items.
Limitation
of Implied Warranties
All implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability
and fitness for purpose, are limited to one year from
date of original retail purchase. 1. No warranty claims
will be accepted without original invoice Client is
responsible for verifying all parts prior to leaving
the Skytel Direct location.
2. Client is responsible for all software, and driver
set-up. (Unless client has optioned the enhanced software
warranty) If the client cannot provide drivers upon
software repairs, upgrades or any other software related
issues there will be a flat fee for EACH driver not
provided.
3. Since all orders are rushed out no returns or exchanges
of any of any type. A consultation / labor fee will
be charged for any assistance or technical support
in set up or installation of any parts, even if purchased
from Skytel Direct. (Unless client has optioned the
enhanced software warranty)
4. Client agrees to purchase software when needed.
5. Exclusions Our liability for defective product
is limited to the repair or replacement of said product,
at our option.
6. We are not liable for incidental or consequential
damages of any type.
